Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking a Compounder/Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. You will handle semi-finished products, add raw materials, and operate automated systems while following strict SOPs and safety procedures.

The role requires the ability to work with corrosives and hazardous chemicals, operate forklifts, and keep accurate batch records. Training, PPE, and comprehensive benefits are provided, with competitive base pay and shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Chemical aptitude with experience in chemical mixing and batching processes.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Compounder/Batch Maker in a fast-paced FDA environment.
• Experience with WMS systems is a plus.
• Must pass a respiratory fit test to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Transfer semi-finished product from the main vessel to tote run tank.
• Perform manual additions 80%–100% of the workday.
• Work daily with corrosives, acids, toxic materials, oxidizers, and high-temperature unfinished products.
• Operate automated control process using an HMI touchscreen to process semi-finished product.
• Connect hoses to transfer raw materials from tankers to pre-fill batch hoppers.
• Batch and supply production lines with product via storage or totes.
• Label tanks, totes, samples, and related materials.
• Follow batch sheet instructions and sign off on each step (FDA required).
• Obtain samples from each batch and submit to Quality Department for approval.
• Manage bulk liquid and dry inventory using the WMS system.
• Perform OSHA-required forklift safety inspections and complete checklists.
• Wear PPE and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to SOPs, GMPs, and JSAs; participate in safety training.
