Daniels Health and MCF Environmental Services partner together to create safe Medical Waste Disposal Services.

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate at our medical waste treatment facility in Ellenwood, GA. Responsibilities include checking in containers, verifying paperwork, moving/unloading waste containers, recertifying 55-gallon drums, and weighing incoming sharps containers. The ideal candidate enjoys variety in their work and can think through practical problems.

What will your job involve?

• Weigh incoming regulated medical waste containers (using our Weighbridge)
• Operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to sterilize materials)
• Recertify 55-gallon drums
• Count universal waste (lightbulbs, batteries, etc.) and add them to the manifest
• Provide training to others
• Lifting up to 75 lbs and handling 55-gallon drums
• Pay close attention to detail, especially with paperwork
• Stand for extended periods comfortably
• Work well with a team, emphasizing teamwork

What are we looking for?

• Someone with a can-do attitude, committed to efficient, timely scheduling, with previous experience in labor-intensive jobs and proven employment longevity
• Forklift certification is required
