Job summary

WM is seeking a Plant Associate to ensure waste is unloaded from vehicles, decontaminated, and staged for scanning and processing. The role requires safe, productive execution with adherence to health and safety standards.

Training will be provided, and growth opportunities exist within WM’s operations network. The position involves unloading waste, staging and scanning in Biotrack, loading bins for processing, and maintaining clean, safe dock areas.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience, preferably in plant environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow health and safety directives and performance and conduct standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration.
• Stage waste for scanning in Biotrack system and ensure proper recordkeeping.
• Scan waste into Biotrack system for recordkeeping.
• Load autoclave bins or incinerator hopper with waste for processing.
• Decontaminate vehicle cargo-carrying portion and ensure no free liquid remains.
