The role requires SD registration within 30 days of hire and certification in immunizations or remote pharmacy per SD Board guidelines. Evening shift, full-time with a strong emphasis on accuracy and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the SD Board of Pharmacy within 30 days from hire.
• South Dakota technician certification in immunizations/remotes as of 9/12/2024 per Board guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
• Assist with unit dose dispensing, IV admixtures and compounding.
• Support pharmaceutical care and billing by using multiple computer programs.
