Job summary

Camden County College is seeking a Temporary Part-time Pharmacy Technician Instructor to deliver evening instruction at the Blackwood Campus. The role focuses on preparing students for entry-level pharmacy technician work through a structured curriculum and hands-on labs.

The instructor will develop lesson plans, maintain instructional materials, and monitor student progress while upholding campus standards and professional conduct in a diverse learning environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the field.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Proficient written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports, complete student evaluations, document student progress and email students and staff.
• Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal communication skills for classroom instruction and student engagement.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of experience educating or training pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction aligned with the approved curriculum on a daily basis.
• Develop lesson plans that support student learning outcomes and workforce readiness.
• Organize and maintain instructional materials, tools, equipment, and supply inventories.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, including grading and attendance tracking.
• Provide timely, accurate, and constructive feedback on student performance, behavior and participations.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable industry standards, laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, and integrate this knowledge into daily instruction.
• Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student behavior and instructional progress.
• Model professionalism, reliability, and respect to contribute to a positive school culture.
