Job summary

HonorHealth seeks a Pharmacist Supervisor for evening shifts at Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role oversees the medication-use process, leads pharmacy staff, and ensures high-quality, safe patient care in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include a PharmD (or higher) and Arizona licensure, with hospital experience and prior supervisory roles preferred. This is a full-time, in-person position with evening hours (1pm–9:30pm).

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years hospital/ambulatory/retail pharmacy experience required.
• 4 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory/management experience in a health-system preferred.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in Arizona (upon hire).
• Licensure or certifications in leadership training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily medication-use process and supervises pharmacy operations.
• Provides leadership, orientation, training, drug distribution, HR and project support.
• Reviews medication errors and implements strategies to reduce them.
• Serves as pharmacy student and resident preceptor; participates in teaching.
• Maintains records, coordinates with management and ensures safe medication-use processes.
