Job summary

Clarest Health in Southborough, MA is seeking a Full Time Pharmacist to ensure seamless medication delivery for long term care facilities. The role is on-site at our closed-door Southborough pharmacy, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekend rotation.

The starting salary is $130,000–$135,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, Telemedicine, 401k match and more. Reports to the Pharmacist in Charge and supports PV2/ PV1 operations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required; PharmD preferred.
• License to practice in MA in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year in healthcare as licensed pharmacist.
• LTC Pharmacy or related environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Docutrack and related frameworks strongly preferred.
• Position requires ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Check and review Floor Technician work (PV2).
• Verify and replace contents of E-Kits.
• Pull control medication to match labels.
• Maintain count accuracy in control room.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile products.
• Make necessary NDC changes.
• Process new and completed backorders.
• Fill and review OOP/LOA requests.
• Fill Clozapine orders.
• Check packaged medications (pre-pack).
• Supervise other Pharmacists when PIC on duty; oversee Floor Technicians.
• Assist pharmacy technicians as needed.
• On-Call when scheduled.
• Ensure PV2 meets run-time commitments; exceed expectations for PV1.
• Adhere to all federal and state laws; follow policies for safe medication use and quality program.
• Report medication errors to management.
• Knowledge of medications, interactions, and dosages.
• Complete QA sheets; perform other duties as assigned.
• Flex into PV1 role as available.
• Adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct and Compliance policies.
