Job summary

The Exercise Coach is seeking a Personal Trainer in New Jersey to provide assisted stretching, coaching, and motivation for clients. You will deliver engaging training sessions, educate clients on proper technique, and help maintain a welcoming studio environment.

This role blends coaching with sales support to grow client participation. Ideal candidates are passionate about fitness, have strong communication, and are comfortable working afternoons and evenings.

Qualifications

• Passion for health and fitness; enjoy working with people.
• Fundamental knowledge of exercise science and human biology.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience training is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with adults over 40.
• Proficient with Windows and computers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one training and assisted stretching sessions.
• Educate clients on proper exercise techniques and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Maintain a clean and organized training environment.
• Follow up with leads and prospects throughout the sales process.
• Grow the business through client retention and acquisition programs.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall client success.
• Promote studio programs and special offerings.
• Must be able to work afternoons and evenings.
