Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience in surgical services, sterile processing, patient care environment or related departments with similar skill set required.
• Medical Assistant and/or Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service support for assigned OR area(s) including patient transport, preparation and cleaning of the operating room, and cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of equipment.
• Assist OR personnel in positioning and maintaining patient safety.
• Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures and report to Supervisor/Manager/Director.
