Job summary

Midwest Center for Youth and Families is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per-diem/PRN evening 12-hour shifts. Our nursing teams include RNs, LPNs, lead mental health technicians, unit clerks and mental health technicians dedicated to patient safety and quality care.

New graduate RNs are welcome to apply. The Midwest Center is a 74-bed private residential psychiatric treatment facility with sites in Valparaiso and Kouts, Indiana, offering DBT-focused care for youth aged 10–18 within a System

Qualifications

• Current Indiana RN License
• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care as part of a psychiatric treatment team.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, technicians to ensure safety and quality care.
• Support new graduate RNs and professional development.
• Per-diem/PRN scheduling with 12-hour shifts.
