Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree in Science/Cardiac Sonography or certificate in cardiac sonography.
• Active ARDMS RDCS registration required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 2–3 years of experience in cardiac ultrasound.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians.
• Synthesizes information related to patients' medical problems.
• Will work mainly evenings and weekends with possible weekday shifts.
• Utilizes computer systems and MS Office applications as needed.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to prioritize and respond to emergencies.
