Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Wheaton, IL 60188 is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for evening shifts (3pm–7pm). The role focuses on pediatric therapy, sensory and developmental interventions, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will assess clients, implement targeted therapies, and guide families to reinforce treatment at home. Requires graduate degree and IL license eligibility; NBCOT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is required.
• OT licensure or license eligibility in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
