Job summary

Flournoy Health Systems seeks a compassionate Pediatric Skilled Nurse for part-time evenings to deliver at-home care to children with complex medical needs in Georgia. You will monitor conditions, administer therapies, and educate families on care techniques in the patient’s home.

The role requires an RN or LPN with a Georgia license and a minimum of one year in pediatric home care, plus current BLS. Prior tracheostomy/ventilator experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing skills test with an 80% or above.
• Minimum of one year of pediatric nursing experience (home care preferred).
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in the home setting.
• Manage and maintain medical equipment, including feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, and seizure logs.
• Administer medications, respiratory treatments, and other prescribed therapies.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Educate and support families in caring for children with complex medical needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain compliance with all state regulations, agency policies, and professional nursing standards.
