Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Pavilion in Aurora, CO is seeking a Patient Transport team member to move patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the facility. You will assist patients entering/exiting vehicles and deliver equipment as requested.

Role requires Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heartsaver CPR within 90 days; CNA is preferred. This full-time, evenings position offers a comprehensive benefits package and is onsite at UCHealth.

Qualifications

• BLS/CPR within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred CNA.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested.
• Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles.
• Delivers equipment and specimens; assists staff with removal of deceased bodies to morgue.
• Greets and directs patients and visitors.
• Works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking.
