Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients safely across Mass General locations. You will assist patients, transport to procedures, and deliver lab specimens and supplies.

On-site, 20 hours weekly, evening shift at 55 Fruit Street, Boston. Requires a High School Diploma; 0-1 year of customer service and hospital/medical office experience preferred. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required. Excellent communication and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Customer service experience 0-1 year required and Medical Office/Hospital/Managed Care Experience 0-1 year preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities are expected

Responsibilities

• Assist patients or lifting patients into wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Transporting patients to various locations in the hospital for medical procedures.
• Ensuring patients are comfortable and safe during transit.
• Monitoring the scheduling system for transport requests and completing them promptly.
• Delivering laboratory specimens, medical equipment, supplies, and mail.
