AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Patient Services Ambassador for The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, OH. This full-time position runs from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

and includes every other weekend. Duties include entering meal orders on an iPad, serving meals per dietary guidelines, reviewing patient records, and maintaining sanitation and professional relationships. The role requires at least 1 year in foodservice or long-term care, a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of foodservice or long-term care experience.
• High school diploma; ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English to communicate with team members, clients and patients.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills including experience using an IPAD or tablet.
• Basic understanding of diet principles, food preparation and cooking methods.
• Previous experience with computerized diet office systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Use an iPad to enter meal orders and communicate menu choices to patients.
• Serve patient meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and guidelines recommended by the treating physician.
• Read each patient's records prior to distributing appropriate meals or snacks.
• Collect all trash and food remnants from patient rooms.
• Promote the highest levels of quality and service.
• Ensure proper food and sanitation standards to comply with federal, state and other regulatory agencies.
• Maintain and foster positive and professional working relationships.
• Other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
