Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a food service worker to prepare and deliver meals to patients, staff and visitors on our hospital campus.

You will assemble patient trays, operate in a clean, compliant kitchen, stock service areas, and ensure accurate, timely tray delivery while upholding food safety standards and patient confidentiality. This role requires good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with rotating holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of hospital food service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve attractive and nutritious foods to patients, staff and visitors.
• Assemble patient trays on the room service line.
• Deliver trays to patient rooms and verify accuracy.
• Sanitation of equipment and small wares; maintain department cleanliness.
• Stock service areas and assist with dishwashing as needed.
