Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a part-time Patient Dining Associate in New Prague, MN 56071. Shifts are 1:30 pm–7:00 pm or 3:00 pm–7:00 pm with rotating weekends/holidays. Pay ranges from $18.25 to $18.50 per hour. Duties include assisting patients with meals, assembling trays, and ensuring nutrition and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, dietary restrictions, and preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HIPAA and confidentiality policies and adhere to healthcare regulations.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean work areas.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
