Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Care Technician (C.N.A./M.A.) for the Non-Invasive Diagnostic Services (TEE Testing) department. Roles include patient transport, care, and equipment handling within a Monday-Friday shift, with options for full-time, part-time, or PRN status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of direct care experience (acute or long-term) or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.
• Assists in streamlining workflow in the Noninvasive Diagnostic Services Department, including patient transport, toileting, transferring, and ambulation with assistive devices.
• Assists with cleaning transesophageal echocardiogram probes, helps order supplies and stock the department, and records patient information and required data for documentation.
• Inserts/removes peripheral IV catheters under RN direction, prepares patient procedures by applying monitoring equipment, and runs supplies to TEEs, vascular studies, or echocardiograms outside the department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED
