Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support nursing staff in delivering patient care, including personal hygiene, daily activities, transporting patients and equipment, and setting up rooms.

You will coordinate communications for the unit, process electronic orders, and assemble patient charts and essential documents. Schedule is 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE), with 3p-11:30p shifts and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent, or CNA in progress with MN Registry, or equivalent experience.
• Valid BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of patient care including personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Transport patients and equipment and stock supplies.
• Set up and maintain patient rooms; reorder supplies.
• Coordinate communications and procedures for the nursing unit; process electronic orders and assemble patient charts.

Education

HS Diploma or equivalent

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry

Equivalent work experience in lieu of HS diploma
