Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a lively Utility Worker for Pennwest Edinboro in Edinboro, PA. This part-time role runs Wednesday–Friday from 3:30pm to 12:00am, with responsibilities including dishwashing, maintaining a clean work area, stocking, and waste disposal.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of cleaning methods, physical stamina for repetitive tasks, and an interest in growing with a family-oriented team that offers training and benefits for full-time members; EOE.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing.
• Ability to exert continuous physical effort including bending, walking and lifting.
• Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• Immense training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dish machine or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• May be responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler
