Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Utility Worker to join our team on a part-time basis. The position operates Monday through Friday during the 2nd shift, contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.

You will wash dishes and maintain all related areas, while supporting stock reception and waste management, helping ensure high service standards and food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing.
• Ability to exert frequent bending, walking and lifting.
• Prior dishwashing experience preferred.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dish machine or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Receive product from vendors and organize stock.
• Sort and remove trash and place it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler.

• May be responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler

Requirements:

• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing work
• Ability to exert continuous physical effort including frequent bending, walking and lifting
• Previous dishwashing experience preferred
• Superior customer service standards
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment
