Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Tech for a part-time evening shift. You will prepare medications, deliver IV admixtures, stock supplies, and support the pharmacists with audits under supervision.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, PTCB certification, Iowa Board of Pharmacy registration, and mandatory reporter training within 3 months of hire. Benefits package available.

Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification or equivalent required if applicable.
• Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy by the time of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter training completed within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver medications and IV admixtures to patient areas.
• Restock automated dispensing machines and cart inserts.
• Assist pharmacists with audits and unit inspections.
• Provide training and mentoring to new staff as needed.
