Job summary

MercyOne Central Iowa Medical Center, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Tech to support pharmaceutical care. You will prepare and deliver medications and sterile products, stock drugs, and assist the licensed pharmacist in daily operations.

Under supervision, you will handle IV admixtures, assist with audits, and mentor new staff. Join a large hospital with 7,000+ colleagues and a mission to improve community health.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required or preferred.
• Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medication orders.
• Delivers medications and IV admixtures to patient rooms and other areas.
• Restocks medications and supplies in the pharmacy.
• Assists pharmacists with audits and inspections.
• Restocks automated dispensing machines and supplies.
• Assists with training and mentorship of new staff.
