Ivy Tech Community College - Sellersburg Campus is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach music courses on a part-time, temporary basis. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, developing syllabi, maintaining attendance and grades, and using Canvas and PowerPoint. On-campus evenings for spring sessions are scheduled.

Applicants must hold a master's in music or have 18 graduate hours in music; unofficial transcripts are requested for full consideration. Campus benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Possesses an earned master's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in music.
• Possesses an earned master's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in any field with 18 graduate semester credit hours in music.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes and facilitate student learning.
• Develop syllabus appropriate to course(s) being taught and follow content requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions.
• Use Canvas, PowerPoint, and related tech for instruction.
