Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time material handler in Irving, TX to operate equipment for moving packages and heavy freight. The role includes assisting with pallet buildup and breakdown and serving as a liaison with ULD repair vendors as needed.

You must be able to lift 50 lbs, walk and stand for long hours, climb stairs, and work in a noisy environment. PM shift Sun–Thu 6:00 PM–12:00 AM; base pay $20.80/hr; valid TX driver license and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
