Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in our facilities. You will perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash removal while upholding health regulations and customer service.

Part-time night shift positions are available, Monday through Friday 5:30pm–10:30pm in Forsyth, IL. Wage is $16/hour with PTO and 401(k) eligibility after 60 days, plus a daily pay option.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high-level of performance.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong detail orientation.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
