Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant at the Kentridge Rehab & Nursing site in Grand Rapids. The role supports direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with daily activities and ensuring adherence to care plans and hospital policies.

The position requires a Michigan CNA training completion, a high school diploma, and BLS certification within 90 days. Evening shifts, 20 hours weekly, with a supportive team and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course required.
• CRT‑Nursing Assistant certification (Michigan) required upon hire with specified locations.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License required for patient transport.
• CRT‑Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision per unit policies.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, transporting, and feeding of residents/patients.
• Document care provided per guidelines.
• Maintain patient environment and report equipment malfunctions.
• Complete CNA educational hours as required.
• Participate in unit quality monitoring activities as directed.
