Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a Janitorial Cleaner to perform cleaning of common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, and other assigned items in Andover, MA.

The part-time position runs 5:00pm-9:00pm with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitation, trash disposal, and reporting safety hazards while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Willingness to work assigned hours.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting, standing).

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Attend to flooded areas and incidental spills as needed.
