Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical School graduate of an accredited program in Paramedic Science with current state of employment license/certification required
• 0-1 years of EMT-P experience required
• 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality patient care and clinical support for all age groups in emergency settings
• Coordinates patient care with RNs and interdisciplinary team members
• Documents care accurately in the EMR
• Safely administers medications with focus on the five rights of medication administration
• Operates and maintains medical equipment for patient care
• Maintains professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
