• Operate with moderate autonomy, making protocol-driven decisions for safe intake.
• Coordinate with EMS and transfer centers, and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and hospital departments.
• Identify system barriers to throughput and contribute to improving patient flow and care transitions.
