Job summary

Taylor Corporation is hiring a Packer/Helper at our Dallas facility. You will support press operators, verify product quality during production, and prepare cartons with accurate labels to keep pace with machine output. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail, with opportunities to learn equipment setup and safety procedures.

The shift runs 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a two-week alternating schedule.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and good verbal communication are essential.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to learn equipment operation and follow procedures.
• Ability to read a ruler and perform basic math.
• Teamwork and ability to follow written or spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to direction of press operators.
• Verify quality of product during production and before packing.
• Prepare cartons and pack labels to match machine output.
• Handle labels to prevent damage to finished forms.
• Ensure carton counts and form numbering per instructions.
• Check labels match job run and report errors to operator.
• Learn basic equipment functions and assist in setup when needed.
• Operate pallet jack to move pallets.
• Inspect and rework returned product as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain work area.
