Job summary

Kar Nut Products Company is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator for the afternoon shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) at the Madison Heights, Michigan facility. The role supports the production team in packaging Sanders products, with an emphasis on quality control, safety, and productivity.

The position offers a starting hourly rate of $17.50 with a $1.00 shift premium, full-time benefits, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• At least 1 year of machine operator experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Self-directed and able to work with peers and supervisors.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment to keep production lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and run various packaging machines.
• Ensure accurate codes, weights, and packaging.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve packaging machine issues.
• Clean machines and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with setup and changeovers of packaging lines.
• Coordinate with team lead to hit performance targets.
• Follow GMP, QFS, and OSHA safety policies.
• Maintain safe work environment.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
