Job summary

Advanced Health Care of Cincinnati is seeking compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our exceptional team. We provide direct resident care, assist with daily living activities, and support residents to maintain independence, comfort, and dignity across all shifts.

Requirements include a current Ohio STNA license, CPR certification, and 1+ year of healthcare experience; prior skilled nursing facility background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio STNA (CNA) license required.
• CPR certification.
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare or skilled nursing setting.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under supervision of licensed staff (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using safe techniques.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges and orient new residents.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain clean, organized living environment and infection control standards.
• Assist with dining services including meal setup and feeding support.
• Document care provided and observations accurately per policies.
• Participate in training to maintain CNA verification and geriatric care skills.
• Assist new CNAs with training and facility orientation.
