Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer for 2nd shift (16:00–00:00) and 3rd shift (00:00–08:00) with weekend availability. This role is not armed; weapons are not allowed on premises.

You will protect client properties, greet visitors, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents as they arise. Key duties include patrols, access control, and reporting; success depends on professionalism, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screen at hire and randomly thereafter (including marijuana).
• Must not have felonies.
• Must stand/walk up to 12 hours at a time; able to lift 50 lbs. (70 lbs. for armed work).
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and customer service for client sites.
• Observe and report suspicious activities; maintain professional demeanor.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols; enforce access control.
• Respond to emergencies; administer CPR/First Aid if needed.
• Coordinate with site supervisor and client staff; communicate effectively.
