Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Cambridge, MD is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for evening and overnight shifts. You will join our team in Prince Frederick, MD delivering high-quality medical care in a supportive, structured environment and coordinating care across clinical and UR teams.

Responsibilities include medication dispensing, meticulous documentation, patient education, and collaboration with therapists and physicians to support recovery.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensure in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character supporting recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client during admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and maintain med logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
