Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living in Hampton, VA seeks a Registered Medication Associate (RMA) to provide safe medication administration and high-quality resident care. The role emphasizes compassionate, individualized service and adherence to state standards.

Full-time and part-time shifts are available. We offer comprehensive benefits for full-time staff and host Open Interviews every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 1030 Topping Lane, Hampton, VA 23666.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Resident Care Associate is required.
• Continuing education credits must be maintained.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration techniques is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain per policy.
• Maintains resident confidentiality and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and safe delivery of the Medication Management Program.
• Administer and accurately record medications as prescribed.
• Observe ingestion and document efficacy or adverse effects.
• Document vital signs and medication updates in the resident record.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report equipment issues.
