Job summary

Mosaic in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Certified Medication Specialist to join our team for evening and overnight shifts. In this full-time role you will administer prescribed medications to residents, follow CMA standards, and collaborate with caregivers to ensure safe, compassionate care.

You should have CMA certification and a valid driver’s license; prior experience with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA Certification; training available if not held.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as directed by prescribing physician and CMA standards.
• Document daily medication administration and notify personnel of errors.
• Monitor medication inventory and dispose of expired meds, log new/refilled meds.
• Monitor home inventory for proper labeling of medications.
• Detect illness or injury and provide first aid as trained.
