Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a registered nurse for the Evening shift to deliver compassionate, patient- and family-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will apply the nursing process, participate in safety and quality initiatives, educate patients and families, and collaborate with inter-professional teams to plan and coordinate discharge and post-discharge needs.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• BSN or higher degree strongly preferred within 3 years of hire.
• BLS certification based on organizational guidelines/policies.
• Experience in acute care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, their family/designated care partner(s), and other staff consistent with Jefferson Health values.

• Partner with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education in an understandable way.

• Collaborates within nursing and inter-professional teams to achieve quality patient care.

• Actively participates in hospital and practice committees focusing on safety and quality.
