Qualifications

• Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
• 2 years of nursing leadership or related experience.
• Clinical certification in the patient population served or nurse leader certification.
• Ability to apply nursing process toward outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership and management for a designated shift in the OR.
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to ensure quality, safety and patient experience.
• Coordinates care delivery and staffing to optimize unit operation and outcomes.
• Supports staff development, onboarding, orientation, and performance evaluation.
• Participates in interviews and ensures appropriate staff onboarding and education.
• Promotes a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion and continuous improvement.
