Primary Purpose

Manage retail operations for the assigned department, influencing store associates, merchandise quality, customer service, and store conditions, while promoting a strong store culture and ensuring safety and asset control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster an inclusive environment for associates and customers.
  • Ensure quality standards and department presentation.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet department needs.
  • Achieve financial objectives and manage department operations.
  • Supervise staff performance and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and shrinkage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Utilize company tools for operations and reporting.
  • Support inventory management and merchandising standards.
  • Perform performance appraisals and manage work schedules.
  • Develop product knowledge and maintain department standards.
Physical and Preferred Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and 60 lbs. occasionally.
  • Meet physical activity standards.
  • Experience in store management or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
  • Certification as a Food Safety Manager or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
