Job summary

BookNook is seeking USA-based reading tutors to join a flexible, online tutoring program. Tutors will work with K–8 students using provided reading content and optional math topics after onboarding. The role is a 1099-eligible independent contractor with a pay rate of $20 per hour, most active during 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM ET.

Sessions are typically 30 minutes and align with the school year (September to May). Strong communication and reliable internet are required; work from within the United

Qualifications

• Experience in reading tutoring or teaching is preferred.
• Ability to engage students and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Comfort delivering online instruction with provided content.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed reading lessons using provided content.
• Support students with practice extension materials.
• Attend online sessions during assigned time windows.
