Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and uphold safety protocols on a daily basis.

Typical shifts are Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with an hourly rate of $16.00–$17.00. No formal education is required, but 3–6 months of training or experience is preferred, and forklift certification may be requested where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education and/ or Experience: No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver's license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fill in during staff shortage.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment.
