Job summary

GDI is seeking a General Cleaner in Westland, MI for an evening shift from Monday to Friday, 5pm to 9pm. You will clean a commercial office building, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring dust-free and tidy spaces for clients and staff.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming; operating floor machines when required; and working with a team to meet customer requests. Must have reliable transportation and wear steel-toed shoes where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning commercial buildings is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to operate a floor machine/scrubber.
• Must be able to run a side-by-side scrubber.
• Must have the ability to work with other crew members.
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Steel-toed shoes required when applicable.
• Ability to work in hot conditions.
