Job summary

PACCAR's Dynacraft facility in McKinney, TX is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse (RN) to join the evening and third shift. The role provides clinical health assessments, preventive wellness services, and emergency care coordination for site employees and contract workers.

The successful candidate will be an experienced RN licensed in Texas (or compact license) with three years of clinical and safety experience, capable of working independently and communicating across all levels of the

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of OSHA, State, and Federal laws.
• Experience with MS Office

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and administers basic first aid care of minor illness and injuries and provides immediate emergency care, coordinating with supervisors or consulting physician in arranging referral and transportation for additional medical care when necessary
• Provides substance abuse screening as needed in compliance with Company Policies and Procedures
• Maintains drug and medical supplies, issues protective equipment and maintains related medical records
• Provides health education, counseling and support for the delivery of the sites' preventive wellness services
• Compiles accident statistics, maintains injury/illness logs, collects attendance data, and communicates with attending physicians as part of the disability management process and workers compensation process
• Timely response to completion of safety items, audit findings, employee concerns, and near misses
• Conduct benchmarking activities of other PACCAR and non-PACCAR plant employees
• Other duties as assigned
