Job summary

Jersey College in Florida is seeking a Nursing Instructor to deliver classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The role includes supervising clinicals, evaluating progress, and maintaining accurate records to support student success.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher and an active RN license with at least 3 years of RN experience, plus strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with faculty and clinical partners.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses being taught.
• Preferred teaching experience in LPN/PN and/or RN settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence according to standards.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners; attend meetings.
