Essentia Health’s St. Marys Hospital in Detroit Lakes is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Float Pool in Med-Surg.

You will deliver direct patient care under supervision of the RN/Manager, assisting with hygiene, nutrition, comfort, transfers, vital signs, and charting to support safe, high-quality care. This 0.6 FTE role offers an evening rotation (2:30 pm–11:00 pm) with every-other weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifikationen

• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Completion of a recognized nurse aide training program or current registration on the applicable state nursing assistant registry.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care and support for comfort and safety.
• Assist with personal hygiene and nutritional needs.
• Perform safe transfers and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record vital signs and report changes to the RN promptly.
