The Service Fort Llc is seeking friendly janitorial staff for a part-time evening/night role in a children's learning facility. Work starts after 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with approx. 1-2 hours of cleaning per evening.

Some weekend/holiday hours may be required. A fingerprint-based background check is required. Responsibilities include cleaning various areas daily, maintaining exterior spaces, handling non-routine tasks, and ensuring rooms are stocked and safe for use.

Salary Range: $14.00 To $15.00 Hourly

We are seeking friendly and energetic janitorial staff to work in a children's learning facility. This is a part-time evening/night position Monday to Friday, work hours starting after 4:00 PM. There is some flexibility with the start and ending time for work, with approximately 1-2 hours of cleaning work per evening. Janitorial experience required, must be able to pass a thorough fingerprint based criminal background check.

Janitor responsibilities and duties

• Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed. Including areas such as bathrooms, offices, classrooms, gymnasiums, and auditoriums daily.
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and/or parking lots
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped

Janitor qualifications and skills

• Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
• Capacity to take direction
• Strong attention to detail
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
• Physically capable of walking up to 3 miles
• Physically capable of bending, stooping and reaching up
