Job summary

Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley, IA is seeking a Medication Manager to provide direct care to residents and patients, following care plans and ensuring high-quality health outcomes. Evening and Night shifts are available with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role requires maintaining safety, assisting with daily activities, medication administration, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to support clinical goals in the facility environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior related work experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Child/Adult Abuse certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Medication Manager certification preferred or to be obtained within first month.
• Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with residents, patients, families, and coworkers to protect and promote dignity and rights.
• Assists residents with daily needs and treatments per care plan.
• Administers medications and ensures patient safety and comfort.
• Performs safety and infection control procedures."
• Performs other duties as assigned.
