Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. seeks a diligent Janitorial Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors. You will follow health and safety regulations, use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly, and support team members in daily cleaning tasks.

The role covers cleaning of all sanitary areas, glass surfaces, and public spaces, with afternoon and night shifts available in Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. FT & PT positions are offered and hours vary.

Qualifications

• Experience in a janitorial role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient cleaning routines.
• Proper and safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Daily cleaning of all sanitary appliances, fittings, and areas.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet rolls as needed.
• Perform regular washing of walls and polishing of floors.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• Notify management of any deficiencies or repair requirements.
• Perform heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness in all public spaces.
• Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, and windows.
• Report any necessary repairs or replacements encountered during cleaning.
